Workshops

There are workshops scheduled in the studio once a fortnight.  They differ from easy workshops that cover the fundamentals of voice training to harder techniques like belting.  Some workshops cover areas of musicality like A Capella or creating harmony.  Workshops are open to all current and past students.  Unless otherwise specified newcomers are also welcome.  Often solo singing is encouraged but it is not a pre-requisite.

Masterclasses

Masterclasses are scheduled once in a while for small groups of six singers at a time to get specific feedback on singing solo. They are very beneficial for those who only do group work in the studio.  Masterclasses are open to all current and past students.  Newcomers are also welcome.  The song choice must be decided when singers book in.

Long-Term Groups

Long-Term groups are available on a weekly basis.  The groups are small and singers and musicians in those groups are working at a similar pace.  Groups are a great way to develop confidence, build friendships and take some pressure off performing.  All of the singers in the groups must be willing to perform solo as well as demonstrating some back-up and harmonising skills.  Singers in the current groups including those who have recorded professionally either started with a ‘Seminars in Singing’ programme, private lessons, open ensemble or regular workshops.
